What Maartand is

Maartand runs group-buying pools. A person starts a pool for a product at a price they are willing to pay; others who want the same product join at that price. A brand may accept the pool, decline it, come back with a different price, or agree subject to a volume it names. Maartand does not set or recommend prices, and does not sell the products itself.

Where the pilot stands

The pilot is invitation-only. Accounts are not yet real — access is limited while sign-in and verification are built — and no payments are processed. Nothing on this site charges a card today. When payments are added, the amount and terms will be shown in full before you commit, and you will be told clearly at that point.

Your commitments

When you join a pool you state the most you would pay and the quantity you want. You are only ever committed to what you asked, at the price you accepted, and only if the pool clears. The most you would pay is not shown to anyone.

Acceptable use

Use the pilot for its purpose. Do not attempt to break, probe, or overload it, impersonate others, or misuse another person’s access.

No warranty; limits

The pilot is provided as-is, without warranties, and may change or pause at any time. To the extent the law allows, Maartand is not liable for indirect or incidental loss arising from use of the pilot.
