Buyers name a price. A brand meets it, or it does not.
Maartand is a group-buying pilot. Someone starts a pool for a product at the price they would pay; other people who want the same product join at that price. When a brand looks at the pool it can accept, decline, or come back with a different number. Nothing is charged unless a pool clears, and the price a pool asks is set by its buyers, never by us.
This is an early pilot. It is invitation-only for now while accounts and payments are still being built, so most of the site is behind a password.
What you can rely on
- The price on a pool is the buyers’ number. We do not set or suggest prices.
- The most you would pay is yours alone — it is never shown to anyone, and never raised for you.
- You are only ever in for what you asked, at the price you accepted, and only if the pool clears.
