Privacy Policy

What we collect

In this pilot we hold only what the service needs: a display name, and — when real accounts are enabled — an email address and a mobile number used to verify the account. When you join a pool we store the quantity and the maximum price you set. The maximum price you set is private: it is never shown to other buyers, to a brand, or inferred from anything we display.

How we use it

We use this information to run pools — matching buyers to a product, ordering a queue, and telling a brand how many people want something and at what price, never who they are or what each person would pay. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Text messages

Messaging is not enabled in this pilot. When it is, we will send text messages only about activity you are part of — for example, a pool you joined nearing its deadline — and only to a number you gave us for that purpose. Message and data rates may apply. You will be able to stop messages at any time by replying STOP, and we will not share your mobile number with third parties or use it for third-party marketing.

Payments

No payments are processed today. When they are, card details will be handled by a licensed payment processor; Maartand does not receive, hold, or disburse funds.

Retention and your choices

We keep pilot data only as long as needed to run the pilot and meet legal obligations. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, contact us.
